Experienced Server The Rookery at The Brooks | Estero, FL The Rookery at The Brooks is seeking a friendly, attentive server who enjoys getting to know members and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Position Summary Provide attentive, efficient food and beverage service to members and their guests. The ideal candidate is hospitable, organized, and proactive—anticipating needs, offering thoughtful recommendations, and maintaining a positive attitude and sense of urgency throughout each shift. Teamwork and clear communication are essential to delivering consistent service. Duties and Responsibilities Arrive on time, ready to work, in a clean and pressed uniform. Welcome members and guests warmly and build positive relationships through personalized service. Maintain knowledge of menus, daily specials, and beverage offerings to make recommendations and answer questions. Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Communicate special requests and dietary restrictions clearly to the kitchen and bar. Coordinate with bartenders, food runners, and kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely service. Check on tables throughout the dining experience, anticipate needs, and promptly address requests. Handle concerns courteously and involve a supervisor when needed. Verify charges and present accurate member checks. Complete dining room setup, breakdown, and assigned side work before, during, and after each shift. Maintain clean, organized, and safe tables, service stations, and work areas. Assist teammates as needed to keep service running smoothly. Assist with setup, service, and breakdown for special events. Follow club policies and food safety and responsible alcohol service procedures. Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor. Qualifications and Requirements Previous serving experience preferred; private club or fine dining experience is a plus. Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor. Ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining accuracy and attentive service. Basic knowledge of food, wine, beer, and spirits. POS experience required; JONAS experience is a plus. Ability to work well with others and remain composed during busy service periods. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry trays and service items. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during season.
