Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Server to join our team during the overnight graveyard shift from 11pm to 8am. This vital role involves providing exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that residents or guests receive timely, courteous, and professional attention. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic setting, demonstrating strong time management skills and a passion for delivering quality food and customer service. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a caring environment while honing your culinary and food handling expertise. Responsibilities Serve meals efficiently and courteously to residents or guests during the overnight shift, maintaining high standards of customer service. Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure meals meet quality and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchens, and food service equipment in accordance with health regulations. Support dietary departments by helping with meal assembly, portioning, and dietary accommodations as needed. Handle food handling responsibilities including serving, bussing tables, and cleaning dishes to ensure a smooth dining experience. Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, sanitation procedures, and hygiene practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery and efficient kitchen operations during overnight hours. Skills Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food production, preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during overnight shifts. Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities. Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional attitude. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling of food products. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment focused on meal service and sanitation.
