Responsibilities Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and organization for incoming guests Assist with food running by delivering dishes from the kitchen to tables promptly and accurately Support servers with food handling, including carrying heavy trays and managing multiple orders safely using proper lifting practices Maintain cleanliness in dining areas through regular cleaning tasks such as wiping down surfaces and sweeping floors Handle guest requests courteously and communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, adhering to food safety standards Use POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Familiarity with food handling, serving, bussing, and basic kitchen operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for delivering excellent guest services Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices during tray carrying or cleaning duties Previous banquet or hospitality experience can be advantageous but is not required; all applicants must demonstrate a positive work ethic and team spirit This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry while providing outstanding guest experiences.
