We are an upscale restaurant offering Indian, Thai, and Chinese cuisine in a refined dining atmosphere. We are looking for individuals who take pride in hospitality, understand the importance of attention to detail, and can provide each guest with a warm, polished, and memorable dining experience. Responsibilities As a Server at Tamara Lake Mary, you will be responsible for: Greeting guests warmly and providing attentive, professional service Presenting menus and confidently explaining dishes, ingredients, and menu selections Learning our Indian, Thai, and Chinese food offerings to provide knowledgeable recommendations Taking accurate food and beverage orders Entering orders correctly into the POS system Providing menu recommendations and assisting guests with questions Checking on guests throughout their dining experience without being intrusive Coordinating with kitchen, bar, host, and management teams to provide smooth service Delivering food and beverages promptly and professionally Maintaining proper table presentation and cleanliness Handling guest requests and concerns with professionalism Processing guest payments accurately Completing opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area Following restaurant service standards, food-safety procedures, and company policies Helping create a welcoming and upscale atmosphere for every guest Qualifications We are looking for candidates who: Have previous restaurant serving experience; upscale or fine-dining experience is preferred Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Are friendly, professional, and guest-focused Have a polished and professional appearance Are dependable, punctual, and responsible Are comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment Can work effectively as part of a team Are willing to learn our extensive Indian, Thai, and Chinese menu Have strong attention to detail and order accuracy Are available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Knowledge of Indian, Thai, or Chinese cuisine is a plus, but we are happy to consider strong hospitality professionals who are eager to learn.
