In this dynamic role, you'll serve as a vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that food is delivered promptly, accurately, and with a warm smile. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Duties Assist hosts in greeting guests and managing waitlists to ensure smooth seating flow Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately, maintaining presentation standards Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely food delivery Ensure all dishes are presented correctly and adhere to food safety standards before serving Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests Provide exceptional guest service by checking on diners' needs and addressing any concerns promptly Support team members with additional tasks as needed to uphold high service standards Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or food runner in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette for interacting with guests and team members Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Ability to stay organized in a busy environment while multitasking effectively Understanding of food safety practices and proper handling procedures Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and provide guest relations that leave a positive impression Join us if you're passionate about creating lively, memorable dining experiences!
