Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system. Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Upsell menu items including specialty drinks, wines, spirits, and desserts to enhance guest experience Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar and dining spaces Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and resetting tables for new guests Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently Demonstrate extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and food offerings to answer guest questions confidently Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols at all times Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally Experience Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Experience with cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits service, and beverage presentation is a plus Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs effectively Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures in the food industry Experience working in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous Ability to handle cash transactions confidently while maintaining accuracy in sales processing Previous host/hostess or bussing experience helpful for supporting overall restaurant operations Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
