Job Overview Lorna's is hiring Servers to deliver our signature Caribbean American hospitality, table-side — taking orders, serving food and drinks, and building the kind of guest experience that keeps people coming back. Cash wage is $11.98-$14.50/hour, depending on experience (Florida's tipped minimum wage of $11.98/hour takes effect September 30, 2026), plus tips; total earnings typically run $18-$26+/hour with tips. Key Responsibilities Guest Service Greet, seat (as needed), and serve guests with warmth and attentiveness Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS (Toast) Explain menu items and specials and make genuine recommendations Order & Table Management Deliver food and drinks promptly and accurately Check in on tables, refill drinks, and manage table timing and turns Process payments and close out checks accurately Teamwork & Cleanliness Communicate with the kitchen and bar to manage ticket timing Bus, reset, and maintain a clean section throughout the shift Report guest concerns to a General Manager for service recovery Qualifications 1+ years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant Comfortable using a POS system (Toast experience a plus) Strong communication and multitasking skills during high-volume shifts Ability to carry trays and stand or walk for extended periods Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole Experience with a Caribbean, Latin, or Southern-inspired menu Benefits Employee shift meal Paid, hands-on training A growing company with real advancement opportunity as we open a second location (Full hourly benefits details provided at time of offer)
