Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, energetic attitude Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash transactions accurately and handle credit card payments efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including food safety standards, wine pairings, and cocktail recipes Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is desirable Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink service techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in sales transaction processing Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude toward guests and team members Basic math skills for bill calculations, change handling, and inventory checks Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in a lively restaurant or nightclub environment Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for hospitality meets your talent for creating memorable guest experiences.
