Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while handling food orders and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently, handling transactions with precision. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, kitchen, and dining spaces. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure safety and sanitation. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic knowledge of food handling practices is an asset. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. A proactive attitude towards upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction. Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with food service.
