Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using Toast POS system. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for bill processing. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Engage in guest relations to foster repeat business and enhance overall experience. Requirements Previous restaurant experience is required, particularly in fine dining or upscale establishments. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is a plus. Experience with Toast POS Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales performance. Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash handling procedures. Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations is essential. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
