This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced breakfast restaurant and take pride in delivering outstanding service. Position Summary The Server is responsible for providing exceptional customer service from the moment guests arrive until they leave. This position requires efficiency, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple tables while ensuring every guest receives prompt, friendly, and attentive service. Because breakfast service moves quickly, previous breakfast restaurant experience is essential. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Seat guests promptly and present menus. Accurately take food and beverage orders. Enter orders into the Toast POS system. Serve food and beverages quickly and accurately. Refill coffee, fountain drinks, and other beverages as needed. Monitor tables to ensure guests have everything they need. Answer menu questions and make recommendations. Upsell menu items, beverages, and daily specials when appropriate. Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately. Maintain clean and organized dining areas throughout the shift. Reset and sanitize tables promptly for incoming guests. Complete opening, side work, and closing duties. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Handle guest concerns professionally and notify management when necessary. Assist coworkers to maintain smooth restaurant operations. Help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business. Minimum Qualifications Applicants who do not meet the following requirements will not be considered. Required Minimum of one (1) year of breakfast restaurant serving experience is required. Applicants without breakfast serving experience will not be considered. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Must be available to work mornings. Weekend availability is mandatory. Applicants who cannot work weekends will not be considered. Required Experience using Toast POS. Valid Food Handler Certification. Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) is a plus. Schedule As Needed (On-Call) Morning shifts
