Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
• Handle cash and operate the cash register
• Upsell additional products when appropriate
• Adhere to food safety and handling procedures
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely drink service

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years serving experience in fine dining or high volume restaurants.
• Bar knowledge including wine knowledge, basic cocktails, and beer knowledge.
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of math for measuring ingredients and handling transactions
• Familiarity with food service procedures
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Understanding of food safety regulations
