- $35 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Food provided Full Job Description A bout Nour Thai Kitchen & Bar Nour Thai Kitchen & Bar is a Thai Select 2-star restaurant in Oakland Park serving authentic, thoughtfully elevated Thai food. We are a busy neighborhood spot with a loyal following, and we want every guest to feel genuine care at the table. What you'll do:
- Guide guests through the menu (spice levels, allergens, sake and cocktail pairings)
- we train you on all of it
- Take orders accurately and manage your section's pacing from greeting to check
- Communicate allergies and modifications clearly to the kitchen, every time
- Keep your section clean, stocked, and ready through the rush
- Work as one team with bussers, runners, and the bar What we're looking for:
- 1+ year serving experience in a full-service restaurant preferred; a great attitude and reliability can outweigh a resume
- Evening and weekend availability
- Calm under pressure, warm with guests, honest with teammates
- Food Handler certificate, or willing to obtain one (we'll point you to it)
- Must be authorized to work in the US Pay and perks:
- Base wage $10.98/hr plus tips; realistic total earnings $25
- 35/hr in our high-volume dining room
- Staff meal every shift
