Host/Server

We are seeking an energetic, friendly, and customer-focused Hostess/Server to join our team. This role combines front-door guest reception with table service responsibilities. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will be the first and last point of contact for our guests — responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth seating operations, and providing attentive, high-quality service throughout the guest's visit. Key Responsibilities Hostess Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival Manage waitlists and reservations Seat guests efficiently while balancing server sections Explain the concept, menu, and specials to guests Monitor dining room flow and communicate with servers and kitchen Answer phone calls and take reservations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return Server Duties Take food, beverage, and hookah orders accurately Provide menu recommendations and upsell items (drinks, desserts, specials, hookah upgrades) Deliver food and drinks promptly Check on guests regularly and ensure satisfaction Handle guest concerns professionally and alert management when necessary Process payments (cash and card) accurately Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas Work as part of a team to maintain smooth service Customer Experience Expectations Create a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere Build rapport with guests and remember regular customers Encourage positive reviews and repeat business Maintain a professional and polished appearance at all times (In a place like yours this is

Required Qualifications Previous restaurant, lounge, or hospitality experience preferred (not required — we will train the right person) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Must be reliable and punctual Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Nights, weekends, and holiday availability required Must be 18+ (21+ preferred) Preferred Skills Experience with POS systems Upselling ability Cash handling experience High energy personality Social media friendliness (engaging with guests, photos, etc.) Compensation Hourly wage + tips Tip sharing opportunities Staff discounts Flexible scheduling
