Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of food and beverage service, and experience with various POS systems. This role involves engaging with guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Prior experience in fine dining or the food industry is preferred, along with knowledge of wine, spirits, and food safety standards. The Server will play a vital role in creating memorable moments for our guests while maintaining high standards of sanitation and hospitality. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktail and drink service, ensuring presentation quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Assist with food handling, sanitation, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards Clear tables promptly and assist with bussing to maintain cleanliness in the dining area Provide guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, wine pairings, or specials Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues quickly Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, including wine selections and spirits for informed recommendations Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Understanding of food safety protocols and sanitation practices in the restaurant industry Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/hostess or bartending experience is advantageous Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
