Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Breakers West Sever is responsible for providing a high-quality dining experience for our guests. The role requires a warm and welcoming personality that aims to engage customers and provide excellent service. The primary responsibility of the Server is to take guest orders, ring them in the Micros system, and deliver them with a smile. Up-selling and explaining daily specials is also an important part of the job. Overall, the Server maintains the cleanliness of the dining room and outside seating areas. •Weekend Availability is required•

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a fine dining setting is preferred Must be at least 18 years of age or older Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time Strong communication and customer service skills Willingness to learn and execute new skills Basic math and computer skills required

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and positive demeanor Take food and beverage orders and ring them in the Micros system Upsell and explain daily specials to guests Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and friendly manner Ensure cleanliness of the dining room and outside seating areas Stock food and beverage needs for the day and complete closing side work Maintain cleanliness of salt and pepper shakers, sugar caddies, and back-of-the-house areas Clean coffee urns and ice tea machines at the end of the day
