Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dining Server, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service experiences in a caring and professional environment. Duties Greet residents and guests warmly, providing attentive and courteous service throughout their dining experience Serve food and beverages accurately according to dietary needs and menu specifications Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces in accordance with food safety protocols Support the dietary department by helping with meal setup, portioning, and food handling procedures Monitor residents' comfort during meals, responding promptly to any special requests or dietary restrictions Uphold sanitation standards through proper cleaning, sanitation practices, and safe food handling techniques at all times Requirements Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare environments such as assisted living or nursing homes is highly preferred Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation practices within the food industry or culinary settings Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables or meal periods simultaneously Familiarity with dietary guidelines and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Ability to follow safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and kitchen operations Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays or supplies as needed, and perform cleaning tasks effectively Experience working in hospital or healthcare settings involving food service is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm for food service makes a meaningful difference in residents' lives.
