Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with enthusiasm Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments accurately Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating beverage service expertise Upsell menu items and drink options to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, bar stations, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly during busy hours, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Build positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Manage openTable reservations for seamless guest seating arrangements during peak hours Support food preparation tasks as needed while adhering to food handling and sanitation guidelines Skills Proven experience in food service roles such as server or cashier within a restaurant or hospitality setting Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to engage guests effectively Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales efficiently Basic math skills for bill calculations, change handling, and sales transactions processing Culinary experience or food industry background preferred for better understanding of menu items and food safety standards Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods without compromising service quality Knowledge of openTable reservation system is a plus for managing guest seating smoothly Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous for adapting to diverse customer expectations Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service flow Commitment to sanitation standards including proper food handling practices and maintaining a clean work environment Join us if you're passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences in a lively setting!
