Responsibilities Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met. Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area. Assist servers with bussing duties, including refilling water glasses and removing used dishes. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including plating or garnishing dishes under supervision. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and special dietary accommodations to answer guest questions confidently. Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and adhering to sanitation protocols. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and service flow. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Familiarity with restaurant operations including bussing, serving, and basic food preparation. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
