Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions. Deliver food and drinks promptly, demonstrating excellent cocktail, wine, spirits, and beverage service skills. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling and food safety practices. Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas efficiently, and supporting kitchen staff when needed. Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience. Skills Proven experience in food service roles, including fine dining or nightclub environments. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that fosters guest loyalty. Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred; familiarity with OpenTable reservations system is a plus.
