Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process sales transactions efficiently Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while ensuring guest satisfaction Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including processing tips and managing receipts Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for efficient order entry and sales processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest relations professionally Knowledge of beverage service techniques, cocktail mixing, spirits, wine selection, and food safety practices Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service periods Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills or tips Culinary experience or food industry knowledge is a plus for understanding menu items and food preparation processes Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills with a team-oriented attitude to ensure smooth service flow Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your skills in a lively setting, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
