Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! In this lively role, you will deliver outstanding guest service, ensure food and beverage orders are accurately taken and efficiently served, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your energy, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality will shine through as you contribute to a vibrant food industry environment. Your role is vital in making every guest's visit memorable and enjoyable. Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience Accurately take orders using POS systems such as Toast, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items and beverage options to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change using POS systems with precision and efficiency Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations by bussing and resetting tables quickly and thoroughly Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, adhering to food safety standards Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish Assist with food handling, sanitation practices, and proper food preparation techniques in compliance with health regulations Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing reservations through OpenTable or similar systems Qualifications Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems ; familiarity with Toast is advantageous Demonstrated skills in customer service, upselling, and guest relations with a positive attitude Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate billing procedures Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your enthusiasm makes every guest feel valued.
