Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are accurately processed and delivered in a timely manner. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, providing attentive service and addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation efforts. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and delivery. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure guest safety. Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
