Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will support the serving staff by ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and that the dining area is well-maintained. This role is essential in enhancing the overall guest experience and contributing to the smooth operation of our establishment. Duties Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food presentation. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly. Participate in banquet services, assisting with setup, serving, and breakdown as required. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or Micros POS. Experience in banquet services is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
