Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and open tabs via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to support kitchen staff Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, and menu items to elevate the guest experience Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service without compromising quality Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty Ability to upsell menu items confidently including cocktails, spirits, wine, and specialty drinks Culinary experience or food industry background is highly desirable for understanding menu components and food safety standards Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of beverage service including cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation techniques Food safety certification or training in sanitation practices preferred but not required Experience with food preparation tasks such as plating or assisting in kitchen operations is a plus Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery Embark on an exciting journey where your enthusiasm makes every guest's visit unforgettable!
