In this dynamic role, you will serve food and beverages with enthusiasm, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your expertise in food service and customer relations will help create memorable dining moments. Whether guiding guests through our menu or upselling specialty drinks, your proactive approach will elevate the overall dining experience. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a lively, fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems to optimize seating flow. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items, including specialty cocktails, wines to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and clearing tables. Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations quickly to prepare for new guests. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items. Experience Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems or similar platforms for processing sales transactions. Knowledge of beverage service and upselling techniques. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing tabs. Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
