Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food industry standards are highly valued. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Candidates with strong communication skills, hospitality background, and proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable will excel in this position. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and service Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, special requests, or concerns professionally Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Experience with food handling, food preparation, and sanitation practices Host/host or bussing experience is advantageous but not required Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary Join our team to provide outstanding hospitality in a vibrant setting where your skills will be valued and your career can grow.
