Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them through the drink and food menu options with enthusiasm and professionalism Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, adhering to all safety and quality standards Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, process transactions efficiently, and handle cash or credit payments responsibly Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue through friendly suggestions and product knowledge Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area, including proper food handling and beverage preparation procedures Manage guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing questions about drinks or menu items, and ensuring a memorable experience Assist with bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to engage guests effectively Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in math calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during high-volume periods Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings preferred; culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a dynamic hospitality environment Join us as a Bar Server if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences through exceptional beverage service!
