https://info.flclearinghouse.com/ Position Overview The Resident Dining Lead Server is responsible for supporting and coordinating daily dining service while providing exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and staff. This position serves as a working team leader, leading by example and helping ensure meals are served accurately, timely, safely, and in a warm and welcoming environment. The Lead Server assists with coordinating dining room operations, supports fellow dining team members, maintains high standards of cleanliness and sanitation, and helps ensure resident dietary needs and preferences are appropriately addressed. The successful candidate demonstrates professionalism, reliability, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to creating a positive dining experience for our residents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Dining Service & Team Leadership Lead and coordinate daily meal service activities to ensure an organized, timely, and positive dining experience. Lead by example by actively participating in meal service and demonstrating excellent customer service. Provide direction and support to dining team members during meal service. Help coordinate assignments, service flow, table coverage, and dining room needs. Communicate effectively with dietary and other departments regarding resident needs, concerns, and service issues. Assist with training and mentoring new dining team members on proper service procedures and expectations. Help identify and address service concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager. Resident & Guest Service Greet residents and guests warmly and provide attentive, respectful, and professional service. Assist residents with menu selections and answer questions regarding menu items. Announce daily specials and provide accurate information regarding available selections. Take resident and guest orders accurately and communicate orders to kitchen staff. Be attentive to residents throughout the meal and promptly respond to requests for additional service. Recognize and communicate special dietary needs, food preferences, allergies, and other resident-specific concerns according to established procedures. Foster a pleasant, respectful, and welcoming dining environment. Demonstrate patience, compassion, and professionalism when interacting with residents, including those who may require additional assistance. Meal Preparation & Food Service Assist with food preparation as needed, including portioning, plating, garnishing, and meal setup. Ensure meals are served according to established portion, presentation, temperature, and dietary requirements. Pick up prepared food and beverages from the kitchen and deliver them to residents and guests. Follow all therapeutic diet, texture, allergy, and other dietary requirements as directed. Operate kitchen and dining equipment safely and appropriately. Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and infection-control practices. Maintain compliance with applicable health department regulations, facility policies, and food safety standards. Dining Room Operations Set and prepare tables prior to each meal service. Ensure tables, chairs, dining areas, and service stations are clean and properly arranged. Clean and reset tables promptly following each meal. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked server station throughout the shift. Restock assigned server stations, supplies, and cooler areas as needed. Move tables and arrange the dining room for special events, parties, and activities. Assist with maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the dining room before, during, and after meal service. Complete dining room cleanup following each meal in accordance with established procedures. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
