Job Description
Overview Part-time Server Assistant wanted for upscale country club in Vero Beach. Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record and must be able to lift heavy trays, multitask and follow direction. The candidate we are looking for has a strong work ethic, is a team player and hold themselves to the upmost standards. The ideal candidate must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time and must have people skills. Previous experience in a food service setting is a plus, but not required. Duties Assist servers with food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery to guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables after guests leave. Help with food preparation tasks in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines. Support the kitchen staff by restocking supplies and assisting with inventory management. Run trays of food out to guests tables and serve if needed. Provide excellent guest services by responding to customer inquiries and needs promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are essential. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends and Holidays.
