Overview Join our dynamic team at Chef Nieves as a Server Team Member and become a vital part of delivering exceptional food service experiences! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate orders using POS systems such Clover, ensuring quick and efficient processing Assist with food preparation and food handling to maintain quality standards and safety compliance Upsell menu items and suggestive selling to enhance guest experience and increase sales Manage cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and providing correct change Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and adhering to sanitation standards and dishes. Support kitchen staff if needed with basic food prep tasks when needed to ensure smooth service flow Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently for guest health and safety Experience Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover but training will be provided Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary experience, or working in a café or grocery store is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to upsell menu items effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Join us at Chef Nieves to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences!
