Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food and beverage team. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly, resetting for new guests, and ensuring sanitation standards are met at all times Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction during their visit Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and payment processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Culinary experience or kitchen exposure is a plus for understanding food preparation processes Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes Previous host/hostess or serving experience is desirable but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
