Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements as a Host/Hostess when needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including sales transaction processing and handling tips Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, bar area, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when necessary Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, cocktails, and menu items to elevate the guest experience Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally Support beverage service including drink mixing, pouring spirits, wine service, and ensuring proper presentation Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Solid understanding of food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive demeanor Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail Experience in fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants is a plus Basic math skills for handling bills, change, and sales calculations confidently Join our team today to become part of an energetic environment where your hospitality talents will shine!
