Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items and wine pairings to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling as needed Support food preparation or kitchen tasks during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently in a fast-paced environment Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards in food service Requirements Previous experience working as a Server in a restaurant, establishment, or food industry setting preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the hospitality industry Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a genuine approach Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for food preparation is valued Hospitality background including serving, bussing or host/hostess experience work is beneficial Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a lively setting!
