A Waiter or Waitress takes orders and serves food and beverages to customers in restaurants. Answers customer questions about menu items, prepares checks and collects payment, and assists with clearing dishes and tables. May work in banquet or dining halls.

Job Description
Must be 18 or older
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and timely manner
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
- Delivering food and beverages to tables in a prompt and professional manner
- Clearing tables and bussing dishes to maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Operating the cash register and processing payments accurately
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assisting with food preparation as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in the food service industry preferred
- Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Familiarity with Toast POS or other point-of-sale systems is beneficial
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally
- Basic culinary knowledge to answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
