Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items to maximize sales while maintaining guest satisfaction. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards. Monitor tables for guest needs, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and responding to requests efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to health regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Assist with bussing tables and supporting host/host duties as needed. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Experience with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is preferred. Culinary experience or background in the food industry is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts. Proficiency in basic math for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is a plus. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both guests and team members. Experience in hosting or guest services can enhance your candidacy.
