Responsibilities Efficiently deliver hot, cold, and specialty dishes from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Handle food running duties with care, including manual handling of trays and heavy lifting of food containers while practicing safe lifting techniques. Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, such as plating or garnishing dishes. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning tables, chairs, and service stations regularly to uphold health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to relay orders accurately. Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Requirements Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety protocols is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper manual handling practices. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques. Experience in banquet settings or large-scale hospitality environments is beneficial but not required. Must be able to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
