Job Summary We are on the lookout for a friendly and attentive Night Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a Night Server, you will be the face of our restaurant during evening hours, providing top-notch service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is memorable. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience during night shifts. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and other beverages, maintaining proper drink service etiquette. Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Upsell menu items, beverages, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders. Support guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, wine knowledge, or dietary needs with professionalism and enthusiasm. Experience Previous food service or hospitality experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is beneficial. Experience with cocktail preparation, spirits knowledge, wine service, and beverage presentation is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy night shifts. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with an ability to connect positively with diverse guests from around the world. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
