In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and efficient order management. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales using POS systems, and manage billing with precision Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine or spirits pairings Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during service, including proper food handling and bussing procedures Assist with setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any concerns professionally Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous; familiarity with OpenTable is beneficial Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests enthusiastically and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing sales accurately Culinary experience or food industry knowledge is desirable; including wine knowledge and spirits experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and sanitation standards Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a lively hospitality setting Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
