Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Process cash and card transactions smoothly, including sales upselling to enhance guest experience and revenue Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation, food handling, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure timely service Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems for guest seating management and table turnover efficiency Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with beverage service including spirits and wine knowledge is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting Demonstrated ability in upselling beverages, cocktails, and menu items to maximize sales opportunities Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive communication style Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where guests feel valued from the moment they arrive!
