Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Server Food Expeditor to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to expedite food orders, ensuring timely preparation and delivery Organize and prioritize incoming dishes based on order timing and guest needs Verify accuracy of orders before they leave the kitchen, checking for proper presentation and completeness Communicate effectively with servers to coordinate the smooth flow of food service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station in compliance with food safety standards Assist in food handling, plating, and portioning as needed to support kitchen operations Support bussing duties by clearing tables when necessary to maintain a clean dining environment Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including food expediting or preparation roles Strong communication skills to liaise effectively between kitchen staff and front-of-house team Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently under pressure Ability to operate POS systems for order tracking and management Basic numeracy skills for portion control and order accuracy Experience with banquet service, food plating, or catering is a plus Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food presentation standards, and restaurant workflows Customer service orientation with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to work quickly, multitask effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
