Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, while providing detailed menu descriptions and recommendations Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling procedures Foster strong guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to process sales transactions accurately using POS systems; basic math skills are essential Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Experience in fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants is advantageous Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays, and perform cleaning duties as needed Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences!
