Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through excellent food and beverage service, ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Experience with food handling, POS systems, and guest relations is highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant setting that emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and culinary excellence. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met according to health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, special requests, or concerns professionally Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability may be required Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles, or hospitality settings will be advantageous This position offers an engaging work environment where hospitality skills are valued and developed.
