Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an outstanding dining experience through attentive service, menu knowledge, and effective communication. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcome and valued. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Required at least twoout three day from Friday - Sunday Accurately input orders into the POS system (Aloha POS or Micros POS) and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for payments and tips. Assist with food preparation as needed while adhering to food safety guidelines. Provide excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the dining experience. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance the dining experience. Basic math skills for cash handling and payment processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards within the food industry. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge can be beneficial for understanding menu items better.
