Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings, is highly valued. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed during food handling and serving Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues effectively Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous Experience with food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols within the food industry Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences Basic math skills for cash handling and billing procedures Previous host/host or bussing experience is a plus but not required Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive on providing memorable dining experiences.
