In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly, assisting with food handling and sanitation protocols, and supporting kitchen staff as needed Foster guest relations through attentive service, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong foundation in customer service excellence Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable; previous experience with POS systems is highly preferred Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to perform basic math accurately for sales transactions and tip calculations Culinary experience or food industry background is a plus; knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is essential Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest interactions Nightclub or fine dining experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn new skills is essential Join us in creating lively dining experiences where energy meets hospitality!
