JOB DESCRIPTION
Follow all steps of service as indicated in training manual and shopper's report(see attached) Smile and have positive attitude Effectively use our POS system Put orders in correctly and efficiently Be able to work in a team environment Side work to be completed as a team Rolling silverware, setting up/breaking down the expo line, setting up/break down beverage station, stock restrooms, straighten dining room, polish glassware Running food as a team Have strong food/beverage knowledge Know all ingredients in every dish on the menu Know all wines, cocktails and beer effectively enough to communicate preferences to guests Proofing minors who look under the age of 30 Open the door for all guests in your section as they depart Be on time for your scheduled shift What does winning look like? 20% or more average tip from each table Proactively seeking cleaning projects when slow Circulates the dining room constantly during peak hours Have a great attitude and not starting or spread drama/gossip Remain calm and level headed during stressful/busy times Excelling in any section placed Communicates 86'd items to all team members Consistently receiving 5 star reviews and positive mentions on social media and Open Table Being an effective and positive promoter of this restaurant and company Constantly gaining repeat guests Perform at the highest level even when no one is watching Be early for your scheduled shift Be well groomed with apron clean, shirt ironed and jeans with no frays Create new notes daily for our guests in Open Table Follow the Golden Rule towards your team and guests
