This role is vital in ensuring smooth food service operations by efficiently delivering dishes from the kitchen to guests, maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary and guest service skills within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Deliver prepared food items promptly from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained Assist with food preparation and plating as needed to support kitchen staff Clear and reset tables efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in guest areas Operate POS systems such as Toast POS and Hot Sauce POS for order processing and billing when required Support the kitchen team with basic food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and guests to ensure seamless service flow Assist with banquet or special event setups when necessary Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with food safety standards Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations Experience with POS systems such as Hot sauce POS and Toast POS is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is advantageous Customer service-oriented attitude with a friendly demeanor Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who want to grow their skills in a vibrant restaurant or hotel setting.
