Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Assist with food handling, preparation, and bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and efficiency in the dining area. Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and close out checks using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns swiftly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Requirements Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and cashiering. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and guest engagement to maximize revenue opportunities. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and transaction accuracy.
