Food Runner Position Summary:

The Busser / Food Runner supports the service team by maintaining clean and organized dining areas and delivering food efficiently from the kitchen to guests. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth service and an excellent dining experience.

Responsibilities:

Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly Deliver food from kitchen to tables quickly and accurately Ensure food is presented correctly and matches guest orders Refill water glasses and assist with condiments or bread service Maintain cleanliness of dining room, service stations, and restrooms Assist servers by transporting dishes, glassware, and utensils to dish area Communicate with kitchen and servers regarding food timing and special requests Restock supplies including napkins, silverware, plates, and cups Prepare tables for incoming guests Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards Support team members during peak service times Complete side work and other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to stand, walk, and lift items throughout shift Prior restaurant experience preferred but not required Ability to handle hot plates and work safely in a busy kitchen environment
